棒球為媒、僑力為橋：澳洲昆士蘭僑領齊聲力挺臺澳青年交流永續發展

【創新聞 記者郭晉嘉/新北報導】2025年底，一年一度的「新北富邦國際城市U18棒球邀請賽」於12月14日至20日在新北市新莊熱鬧登場。這場匯聚多國青棒勁旅的國際賽事，不僅是競技舞台，更是青年對話、文化互鑑的溫暖橋樑。其中，澳洲昆士蘭棒球協會U18代表隊連續第三年受邀來台，展現台澳青少年棒球交流的穩健軌跡與深厚默契，也為雙邊民間體育合作注入源源不絕的動能。

At the end of 2025, the annual New Taipei Fubon International U18 Baseball Invitational Tournament took place from December 14 to 20 at the Xinzhuang Baseball Stadium. More than just a competitive arena for elite youth teams from around the world, this international event serves as a warm bridge for dialogue and cultural exchange. Notably, the Baseball Queensland U18 Team was invited for the third consecutive year, underscoring the steady growth and deep mutual understanding of Taiwan-Australia youth baseball cooperation.

昆士蘭地區僑務委員羅富齡特別製作圖案巧妙結合昆士蘭首府布里斯本故事橋標誌性景觀，以及台北101、無尾熊與台灣黑熊等意象，以視覺語言訴說跨越南太平洋的友誼。該紀念衫全數致贈昆士蘭代表隊成員，不僅提升團隊認同與向心力，更讓每一件衣衫成為流動的文化使節，在賽場內外傳遞尊重、理解與共感。

Ms Phyllis Lo, Commissioner of Overseas Community Affairs Council, Taiwan (Queensland) initiated a sponsorship project to create custom commemorative shirts. The design masterfully blends cultural symbols from both regions—featuring the iconic Story Bridge of Brisbane alongside Taipei 101, the Koala, and the Formosan Black Bear. These shirts, gifted to every member of the Queensland team, serve as “mobile cultural ambassadors,” fostering team identity while conveying messages of respect and empathy across the South Pacific.

12月14日，聖誕節前夕的首場賽事現場，澳洲昆士蘭州駐台貿易暨投資辦事處處長費裘娜（Juna Ferrett）受邀擔任開球嘉賓。她身著羅富齡委員設計的「Team Taiwan」紀念衫，與富邦悍將明星球員、現任「台灣原住民族棒球運動發展協會(原棒協)」理事長王勝偉共同完成開球儀式，一顆球劃出弧線，也串起一段深具意義的文化對話。

On December 14, ahead of the Christmas season, the opening game featured Juna Ferrett, Representative of the Queensland Trade and Investment Office in Taiwan, as the guest pitcher. Wearing the “Team Taiwan” commemorative shirt designed by Commissioner Lo, she performed the ceremonial first pitch alongside alongside Fubon Guardians all-star player and Chairman of the Taiwan Indigenous Baseball Development Association (TIBDA), Sheng-Wei Wang completed the first pitch ceremony. As the ball arced through the air, it symbolised a meaningful cultural dialogue between Taiwan and Australia.

費裘娜代表擁有台灣排灣族血統，童年曾在屏東生活，對原住民語言、歌謠與部落生活懷有真摯情感；而王勝偉長期投入原民棒球人才培育，兩人同場開球，既是體育精神的彰顯，更是台澳在原住民族文化傳承與運動平權議題上，邁向協作共進的重要伏筆。王勝偉理事長也藉此機會向費裘娜代表及昆士蘭隊提出邀約，希望能澳洲組隊前來參花東參與由原棒協主辦的關懷盃棒棒球賽感受原住民棒球的熱情與活力！

Ferrett, who has Paiwan heritage and spent part of her childhood in Taiwan, shares a profound connection to Indigenous languages and traditions. Her pairing with Wang, a long-time advocate for Indigenous talent in baseball, highlighted a shared commitment between Taiwan and Australia toward cultural preservation and sports equity. Chairman Wang also extended an invitation to Ferrett and the Queensland team to participate in the “Taiwan’s Indigenous Caring Cup Baseball Tournament” organised by TIBDA in Taiwan’s Hualien and Taitung regions, where they could experience the passion and vitality of indigenous baseball firsthand.

在賽事緊湊之餘，臺僑務委員陳秋燕亦以細膩溫度展現「僑界即後盾」的承諾。她特別安排宴請昆士蘭代表隊，首晚以台灣最具人情味的「熱炒」文化款待年輕球員，台灣炒飯、炒麵、鹽酥雞、蒜炒空心菜與冰鎮芒果青，讓異國少年在喧騰笑語中初識台灣的熱情與活力；隔日再以融合在地風味的西式牛排宴延續款待心意，佐以鳳梨醬、九層塔香草與紅藜米飯，展現台灣飲食文化兼容並蓄的底蘊。一餐一飲，皆是無聲的外交。

Commissioner of Overseas Community Affairs Council, Taiwan (Queensland) Ms Melody Chen further demonstrated the unwavering support of the overseas community through heartfelt hospitality. She hosted the Queensland team for a series of welcoming dinners, starting with a classic Taiwanese stir-fry feast. Dishes like Taiwanese fried rice, salt-and-pepper chicken, and iced green mango allowed the young athletes to experience Taiwan’s vibrant energy. The following day, she arranged a Western-style steak dinner infused with local flavors, featuring pineapple glaze and red quinoa, showcasing the inclusive nature of Taiwan’s culinary culture.

12月17日，陳秋燕委員再度受邀擔任開球嘉賓，並與新北市體育總會棒球委員會總幹事陳泉榮先生共同執行開球與打擊儀式。當球棒敲擊的清脆聲響與觀眾掌聲交織，這不僅是賽事高潮，更是台澳青棒交流歷程中一個具體而微的里程碑，它由僑界主動發聲、民間熱情支撐、青年真誠參與，三方協力，築起一座不靠簽約、卻比條約更堅實的橋。

On December 17, Commissioner Chen was once again invited to the field as a guest for first pitch ceremony, joined by Chuan-Jung Chen, executive Secretary of the New Taipei City Amateur Baseball Association, the crack of the bat and the roar of the crowd marked a milestone in the history of Taiwan-Australia youth exchange, a bridge built not by formal treaties, but by the initiative of the overseas community, the passion of the private sector, and the sincere participation of the youth.

棒球無國界，僑心自有橋。從新北市新莊球場到布里斯本訓練場，從紀念衫上的圖騰到熱炒攤前的笑語，台澳青年正以汗水與信任，一棒接一棒，揮出永續交流的長打。而這份跨越海洋的默契，早已不只屬於球場，更扎根於彼此理解的心田。

Baseball is borderless, and the hearts of the overseas community know no distance. From the stadiums of New Taipei to the training grounds of Brisbane, young players from both nations are using sweat and trust to drive a “home run” for sustainable, lifelong friendship.
