Tsai Defends Herself Against Criticism from All Sides|韓國瑜指抄襲青創政策 蔡回嗆韓不懂國政
On Dec. 20, President Tsai Ing-wen attended a glutinous rice ball-making campaign event organized by Legislator Yu Tien to show her support for him. Tsai refuted plagiarized policy accusations from Kuomintang presidential candidate Han Kuo-yu, saying this shows Han doesn't understand national policy. On Dec. 20, Premier Su Tseng-chang visited with Control Yuan members. While talking about the government's achievements in preventing African swine fever, he suddenly changed topics and criticized someone in the pan-blue camp for having a mouthful of pork while blaming the Tsai administration for not being able to do any work.
On the 20th, President Tsai Ing-wen attended a campaign event held by Legislator Yu Tien and responded to criticism from Kuomintang presidential candidate Han Kuo-yu that she plagiarized his youth entrepreneurship loan policy and tried to pass it off as her own. Tsai said Han's criticism shows he doesn't understand the concept of national policy.
When (Han Kuo-yu) first proposed this, we discovered it was a situation where it seemed like we had said something similar before. And then he said we plagiarized. This conclusively shows one thing. He truly doesn't understand how our government works.
Tsai also responded to criticism from former Vice President Annette Lu, who recently questioned why the Democratic Progressive Party is pushing an anti-infiltration bill when it is enjoying such good poll results. Tsai said the two have nothing to do with each other. She also responded to New Party legislator-at-large nominee Chiu Yi saying she once said cross-strait reunification was inevitable, calling on Chiu to provide proof she ever said that.
The anti-infiltration bill has no connection to the election. The anti-infiltration bill has to do with the security of this country. China is totally infiltrating Taiwan, especially during elections. Everyone feels this deeply.
Premier Su Tseng-chang, meanwhile, gave a briefing at the Control Yuan. While praising the government's achievements in African swine fever prevention, returning investment, and same-sex marriage, he suddenly changed topics to criticize the opposition.
Someone whose mouth is full of pork is calling the Tsai administration useless and incapable. This is the best commentary on righteousness.
As for KMT vice presidential candidate Simon Chang saying Su needs to take classes in etiquette and humility, Tsai said the KMT lacks logic. She also responded to Han's camp speculating there may be a repeat of the 319 "shooting" incident before the election, saying the candidate who is leading in the polls doesn't have to resort to pulling a stunt like that.
